RHS Bridgewater

The Trustees are delighted to announce a partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society which will create their newest garden and their first in the North West – RHS Bridgewater in Salford, Greater Manchester.

Creating RHS Bridgewater is one of the largest horticultural projects in Europe and will be designed by the world-renowned landscape architect, Tom Stuart-Smith. RHS Bridgewater will involve an exciting range of employment and volunteering opportunities in addition to apprenticeships and partnerships with local schools, colleges and community projects across the region.

RHS Bridgewater will open to the public in 2019 and in celebration of both the Foundation’s 60th anniversary and this partnership with the RHS, the Weston Garden will be on display during RHS Chelsea and will give people a preview of what is being planned in Bridgewater. The garden’s development will involve a team of horticultural apprentices. To discover more about the Weston Garden at RHS Chelsea, click here.
