How to Apply

We have made applying to the Weston Anniversary Fund simple and straightforward.  This section of our website and our Application Guidelines contain all you need to know – our application form will guide you through the process.
By applying online you will be able to save your proposal and return to it at any time plus you can easily share it with other people in your charity if you’d like to.

Please do the following BEFORE applying:

  1. Check that you are eligible to apply to the Weston Anniversary Fund by taking our Eligibility Quiz.
  2. Read our Weston Anniversary Fund Application Guidelines carefully – this will ensure that you have all the information and details we will require in your application.
  3. Ensure you have a copy of your organisation’s latest audited accounts. If you are a small charity and not required to produce audited accounts, please provide your annual budget (with income and expenditure) and a copy of your organisation’s latest bank statement.  Save these financial documents as PDFs on your computer so you can upload them with your application.
  4. Ensure you have a copy of your organisation’s planned annual income and expenditure (i.e. your budget), ideally in an Excel spreadsheet or as a table in Word.
  5. Have the costs for your Capital project saved as either an Excel spreadsheet or in a table in a Word document.
  6. Have copies of plans/drawings or photos that will support your application available to you as PDFs or jpegs.
  7. Go to Apply Now where you can access the link to our online application form. From there, we will ask you to create an account – this is so you can save your application before it’s completed and can share it with other people. You will be asked to upload your accounts, budgets and plans. You will immediately receive an email confirming receipt of your application. If you already have an account with the Foundation, you can use your existing log in details to access our online application form.
  8. If you wish to send us your application in the post, please read what you need to do here. You will receive a letter acknowledging receipt of your application within two weeks.

The deadline for submitting applications is 5pm on 30th June. We are not able to accept applications submitted after this date.
